Beaches

  • East Sandwich Beach – closest beach, a 15 min walk or pay to park on North Shore Blvd. There are two parking areas. The first parking area is at the corner of North Shore Blvd and Ploughed Neck Rd. For beach access, turn right on North Shore Blvd, go down about 50 yards, and you will see the entrance over the dunes on your left. For the second parking area, take a left on North Shore Blvd and follow the road 1/3 mile to where the pavement ends. There is a public access trail to the beach directly across from the parking lot. All the way to the right on North Shore Blvd is Craven’s Landing, the entrance to Scorton Creek.
  • Sandy Neck Beach – just a short drive down Route 6A, has a snack bar, and restrooms, nice for relaxing on the beach, and hiking in the dunes. Paid parking.
